Job Summary
As a Senior Software Developer for the Heartland HCM team you will design, develop, test and maintain a responsive UI based web application using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, React, .Net Core, C#, MVC, PHP, SQL and MongoDB. You will also work on multiple projects in a Scrum based agile team and be responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Duties
• Learn, engage, and assist in architecting and designing systems.
• Understand business requirements.
• Design and Code Micro FrontEnd, RESTful Microservices, and Micro Database using domain driven and event driven architecture
• Write code in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, React, .Net Core, C#, PHP, SQL and MongoDB
• Perform application builds.
• Perform unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot bugs in the application.
• Research new technologies. Job Requirements
• Excellent programming skills in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, React, .Net Core, C#, MVC, PHP, SQL and MongoDB.
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and related concepts.
• Experience with containers (Docker), container orchestration (using managed Kubernetes like AKS/EKS) and Serverless Functions in Azure or AWS..
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile setting.
5+ years of experience in software development in small to medium sized businesses, preferably in industries with high levels of transaction processing.
3+ years of experience in developing RESTful Microservices with .Net Core, C#, PHP, SQL.
3+ years of experience in developing responsive Micro Frontends using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, React.
3+ years of experience in designing and building n-tier enterprise applications.
